About Me
I’m an aspiring graphic designer from New Hampshire, with a deep passion for the small details. I thrive in the technical sides of art & design, specializing in brand identity, photography, and apparel design. Having attended two of the top leading colleges in the industry I have expert level knowledge of design principles such as color theory, typograph, and layout hierarchy. While my strongest skills lie in brand identity strategies, I have spent over 3 years in the screen-printing industry progressing from Press Operator to Graphic Artist and developing a deep understanding of the printing industry process’. On top of this I have continued to progress my understanding of design principles such as UI/UX Design and illustration.

LOGOFOLIO
Probably my favorite aspect of graphic design is creating memorable logos. I like adapting to the style of the client I'm working with and through many different iterations creating innovative solutions that can then be expanded upon in the broader brand Identity. Click on each logo to learn the story between each brand.

Add paragraph text. Click “Edit Text” to update the font, size and more. To change and reuse text themes, go to Site Styles.

High Tide surf shop opened in 1984 on Tybee Island, GA and quickly became home to a small yet close-knit surf community full of locals. The goal for this project was to recreate the brand in a smart & interesting way. The identity of the shop was very sporadic with no clear boundaries, so I created a brand that could rest on a single official logo.

Swiss Design Art Exhibition
In this case study, my goal was to design a promotional campaign for a hypothetical museum exhibition at the High Museum in Atlanta, Georgia. Because of my strong interest for layout and grid systems I chose to focus on Swiss Design, more specifically designers Armin Hoffman, Josef Müller Brockman, and Max Huber. Starting as a printed poster & brochure I continued to explore exhibition design and developed this project into a exciting environmental experience.

In today's busy world, way-finding and clear signage is a vital form of design. In this project I tackled the maze-like city of Savannah, Georgia creating a series of Maps and signage for my alma mater the Savannah College of Art and Design. Through this challenge I gain knowledge about signage materials, IRL mock-ups, and I how to reinvent an already existing brand while keeping the same feel.

Three beards brewing is a made-up craft brewing company located in Boston, Massachusetts. The primary goal was to create three separate beer labels as well as a 6-pack design to go along with one of the labels. I then developed this brand further, design three more label designs and two variety pack designs.

In famous Italian artist Bruno Munari wrote a book about the relationship between Design and Art named "Design as Art". My challenge was to design a 52 page book based around an excerpt from Munari's book paired well with a secondary source of my choosing. Given that this was a typography centered project, I chose to lean into the scientific side of design, picking an intriguing article from German Professor Boris Muller that explored how scientists use design to present scientific research & discoveries.

Photography
By now you have seen a number of my photographs used in the headers of this portfolio. Photography – most importantly landscape photography – is my number one artistic interest outside of design as it shares the importance of visual storytelling in its fundamental principles. My favorite aspect of design is blending photography with typography and illustration and finding ways to use my own pictures is the icing on the cake.
